Soap star Danny Miller flooded with love from fans after sharing heartfelt Christmas post
Emmerdale stalwart Danny Miller has delighted fans by sharing a photo with his doppelgänger dad, Vince.
Danny, 34, first rose to fame on the ITV soap as Aaron Dingle in 2008. After a five-year stint, he left the show to pursue other projects, including a regular role in the crime drama Scott and Bailey.
In 2014, he returned to Emmerdale, before taking another break seven years later. During that hiatus, he appeared on I’m A Celebrity… and was crowned the winner.
In 2023, it was confirmed that Danny would once again reprise his role as Aaron. Off-screen, he enjoys a quieter family life, away from the drama of the Yorkshire Dales.

In showbiz, Danny isn’t the only Miller making headlines. His father, Vince Miller, is a legend in the entertainment world, according to the Mirror.
Known affectionately as the “king of compere,” Vince is a comedian and singer who has become a familiar face in Manchester United’s VIP scene—even though Danny is a devoted Liverpool FC supporter.
Now 91, Vince can look back on an impressive 65-year career, during which he shared the stage with stars like Johnny Mathis and Shirley Bassey, and even delivered a heartfelt eulogy at the funeral of comedian Bernard Manning.

Vince chose to step away from his broadcasting career, and at 82, he told the Manchester Evening News: “I have no regrets about it. The time is now to retire while you’re on top. You don’t want people saying ‘not him again’.”
Danny, a father of three, shared a festive family photo with his dad, Vince, on Instagram.
In one image, Danny wraps his arm around Vince as they sit in front of a Christmas tree. Another heartwarming shot shows Danny with two of his children and his dad, all smiling for the camera.
He captioned the post lovingly: “Christmas complete. Three generations of The Miller boys.”

Fans and friends of the soap star flooded the comments with their well-wishes. Emmerdale actor Jay Kontzle, who plays Billy Fletcher, wrote: “Beautiful mate, merry Christmas.”
Another fan commented: “Aww, such precious time, lovely to see your dad smiling and happy,” while someone else added: “Heart melting.”
One viewer remarked: “This is so precious, you look so much like your dad, Danny,” and another agreed: “Danny, you have the same smile as your dad. You can see the pride on his face, and you’ll always be his little boy.”
