General Hospital Spoilers: How Far Would Sidwell Go in Harming Baby Ace to Send Laura a Message?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that baby Ace Cassadine (Karis and Kiernan Barry) could become an innocent casualty in the escalating conflict between Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).

Under normal circumstances, a child would be off-limits—but Sidwell is far from a typical villain. His ruthless behavior has proven he’s capable of acts that make even the Cassadines seem tame by comparison.

How Far Is Sidwell Willing to Go?

Sidwell brutally murdered Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton (Daniel Goddard) and then framed both Laura and mob boss Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for the crime. Laura discovered Dalton’s body in her car trunk and turned to Sonny for help.

For a brief moment, Laura considered confessing to the PCPD, but she ultimately refused, unwilling to drag Sonny down with her. Still, everyone has their breaking point—could Sidwell push Laura past hers? It’s certainly possible.

That said, we don’t believe Laura would ever take a life on Sidwell’s orders, regardless of the consequences of refusing him.

How Will Laura Handle Sidwell’s Threats?

Even Sonny, who is no stranger to violence, understands that Laura isn’t capable of killing to save herself. Yet Sidwell has already gone as far as threatening the life of Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom).

Worse still, Sidwell is fully aware of baby Ace and knows Laura is her grandson’s guardian. When Sidwell recently confronted Laura and the baby monitor went off, it was clear he instantly saw Ace as leverage.

Sidwell has shown himself to be utterly remorseless, raising real fears that he could target an infant to force Laura’s compliance.

Is Sidwell Twisted Enough to Target Ace?

Interestingly, Ace was recently aged up via SORAS, which often signals upcoming storyline drama. GH fans are now left wondering whether Ace is truly in Sidwell’s crosshairs.

Historically, the Cassadines avoided involving innocent babies in their revenge schemes—though children have certainly been manipulated and brainwashed in the past.

Spoilers hint that Sidwell is determined to make Mayor Collins bend to his will, and he may be willing to sink to horrifying lows to ensure her cooperation.
