“General Hospital Spoilers: Elizabeth Testifies – Who Does She Have to Betray?”

Posted on January 5, 2026

General Hospital spoilers tease that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will be called to testify in Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) trial. But who will she be forced to throw under the bus to protect Willow, accused of shooting Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison)?

Elizabeth Blindsided by PCPD Gun Discovery

Elizabeth was caught off guard when the PCPD searched her home and found Edward Quartermaine’s (John Ingle) gun in Willow’s room—the weapon used in the shooting. After Willow called off her first wedding to Drew, Elizabeth had welcomed her into one of her now-empty bedrooms.

With her sons away—Cameron and Jake Webber (William Lipton, Hudson West) at college and Aiden Webber (Colin Cassidy) with Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson)—Elizabeth had plenty of space.

Willow insists she has no idea how the gun got there, though both Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) had been at Elizabeth’s house that day. Carly was ruled out as a suspect, but Willow immediately suspected Michael had framed her.

Sworn to Tell the Truth… But Not Necessarily Happy About It

Elizabeth is sworn in to “tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth,” but that doesn’t mean she agrees with the line of questioning. Like everyone who knew Drew before his return, she struggles to reconcile the man she loved with the version of Drew who returned to Port Charles. Deep down, Elizabeth can’t fully blame his shooter.

Elizabeth Frustrated by Alexis’ Questioning

Elizabeth is clearly annoyed by Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) aggressive questioning on the stand, which seems aimed at Michael. Alexis hones in on the day Michael visited after Carly, forcing Elizabeth to admit he had the opportunity to hide the gun in Willow’s room. The implication: did Michael shoot Drew and try to frame Willow, believing she was unsafe around their children?

But Elizabeth points out that Carly also had the opportunity, reminding everyone she had been overheard threatening Drew. And during that time, Elizabeth had stepped away to take a private phone call.
