Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon was met with an outpouring of support from her co-stars after sharing an emotional update about her fiancé, Ryan Ledson.
Lucy, who first appeared on the cobbles as Bethany Platt in 2015, has been involved in several major storylines over the years. From suffering bullying to enduring a botched surgery abroad, Bethany’s life in Weatherfield has been far from quiet.
The actress recently made her return to the Street after previously departing for a job in London. Away from the cameras, Lucy is happily loved-up with footballer Ryan Ledson. The couple confirmed their relationship in June 2021 after reportedly meeting on celebrity dating app Raya.
Their romance soon flourished, with the pair welcoming their son Sonny in February 2023. The family grew again earlier this year with the arrival of baby daughter Nancy in January, according to the Mirror.
Ryan got down on one knee during Lucy’s 30th birthday celebrations in November last year. The actress later shared the happy news on Instagram, posting a series of photos showcasing her sparkling engagement ring.
More recently, Lucy prompted an outpouring of support from fans after sharing an emotional family update on social media. On Sunday (January 11), the soap star uploaded photos from the celebrations marking her daughter Nancy’s first birthday.
One photo showed Lucy and Ryan posing with their adorable daughter, while other snaps captured a delicious-looking cake and Nancy happily playing with a balloon. Lucy captioned the post: “A perfect birthday for a perfect gworl.”
She also shared a separate Instagram tribute to mark Nancy’s milestone, alongside professional photos of her daughter. Lucy wrote: “1 today. Happy 1st birthday to the girl we dreamed of. You are pure magic, my girl. We all love you so much. Happy birthday.”
Lucy’s fellow soap stars were clearly delighted by the post and quickly took to the comments section to share their love. Vicky Myers, who plays Lisa Swain, wrote: “Happy 1st birthday, beautiful Nancy! Have a magical day, all of you xxx.”
Former Rosie Webster actress Helen Flanagan commented: “Happy birthday beautiful Nancy, your twin.” Meanwhile, Charlotte Jordan, who portrays Daisy Midgeley, added: “Nancyyyyy drewwww — she looks just like her mama xxxx.”
