Fans were left amazed after Coronation Street actor Jude Riordan, who plays Sam Blakeman, posted new snaps

Coronation Street favourite Jude Riordan has amazed fans after sharing a series of striking new photos on social media.
The young actor joined the Weatherfield cast in 2020, taking on the role of Sam Blakeman — the previously unknown son of Nick Tilsley (Ben Price). Since his arrival on the cobbles, he has quickly captured viewers’ hearts and become a firm fan favourite.
Sam has been at the centre of some of the soap’s most emotional storylines, most notably the tragic death of his mother, Natasha Blakeman (Rachel Leskovac), who was murdered by villain Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor).
Jude’s talent was recognised in 2021 when he won the Best Newcomer award at the National Television Awards. Away from Coronation Street, his acting credits include Channel 4’s documentary The Secret Life of 4, 5 and 6 Year Olds in 2017, as well as playing Little Phil in Katy.

He has also appeared in Sky One’s Brassic as Tyler Croft, starring alongside former Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan, who played his on-screen mum. In addition, Jude frequently updates his 90.5k Instagram followers on his day-to-day life, according to the Mirror.
More recently, the young star left fans stunned after unveiling his dramatic transformation. Sharing the moment on Instagram, Jude posted a series of photos from a professional photoshoot.
Fans were quick to comment on how much he has grown, with one supporter writing: “Oh my gosh, he’s grown up so much!” Another added: “Grown up so fast.”
A third fan joked: “Oh my goodness, little dude — you look so grown up!”
The reaction comes shortly after Jude shared a nostalgic throwback to his time on Brassic, the Sky comedy series which recently wrapped up its seventh season. He took to Instagram to post a selection of photos of himself alongside Michelle Keegan and co-star Joseph “Joe” Gilgun, who also co-created the show.

Reflecting on his time on Instagram, he wrote: “I love the funny dog — it’s an owl. Kick him! I remember every single day I spent on Brassic [crying laughing emoji]. It was even more fun than you could imagine — times it by 10!”
He continued: “I grew up surrounded by some amazing people. Look how young Joe looks! From sitting at the Liverpool docks running lines in all kinds of accents [crying laughing emoji], to long drives to France, the best bacon butties, crew dogs, and just hanging out with the funniest people. My Brassic days were truly GOOD TIMES!”
