Ex-Emmerdale star and Strictly winner Kelvin Fletcher posted throwback photos with his brother Dean on Instagram.

Former Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher has delighted fans with a photo of his rarely-seen brother. Kelvin, who became a household name playing Andy Sugden on the ITV soap from 1996 to 2016, saw his character go on the run after being wrongly accused of attempted murder.
The 41-year-old actor and Strictly Come Dancing champion also stars in Fletchers’ Family Farm alongside his wife Liz and their four children: Marnie, Milo, Maximus, and Mateusz.
On Sunday (January 11), Kelvin took to Instagram to post a heartfelt tribute to his younger brother Dean. He shared a nostalgic photo of the two of them, along with recent snaps showing the brothers with their children.
“The sofa’s different, but the love is the same, and we are now sharing it with our eight beautiful children,” he wrote in the caption, according to the Mirror.

“Still my biggest support, my closest confidant, and my deepest bond. I love you, brother,” Kelvin wrote.
Several of his former Emmerdale co-stars quickly responded in the comments. Charley Webb, who played Debbie Dingle, wrote: “Love love love.” Natalie Anderson, known for her role as Alicia Metcalfe, shared two heart emojis, as did Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas, famous for playing Jason Grimshaw.
Fans also flocked to the post, many amazed at the striking resemblance between Kelvin’s brother and his three-year-old twins. One commented: “Wow, that first pic looks just like your twins.” Another added: “Great pic of you all. Really lovely,” while a third wrote: “Gosh, you can tell you’re brothers! So alike!”

A fourth fan echoed the sentiment, writing: “Blimey Kelvin, you’re so alike! It’s great to see you both and all the kiddies.” Another added: “Oh wow, you are the spitting image of each other! Gorgeous photos. It’s so lovely that you still have such a strong bond.”
Dean famously cheered on his brother from the Strictly audience in 2019, the year Kelvin went on to win alongside his professional partner Oti Mabuse.
Kelvin isn’t the only member of his family used to the spotlight. His younger brother Brayden appeared in a 2016 episode of Coronation Street as an unnamed youth, who notably gave Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) a hard time.
Their half-sister, Keeley Forsyth, has also appeared on the cobbles and is an accomplished musician, having released three solo albums. She has also featured in several popular TV shows, including Holby City and The Casual Vacancy.
