EastEnders viewers are eager to see the duo make a joint return to Walford

Former EastEnders favourite Rob Kazinsky has fans excited with speculation about a possible Sean Slater return after sharing a heartwarming reunion photo with his on-screen sister, Lacey Turner.
The 42-year-old actor played Sean Slater on the BBC soap from 2006 to 2009, though he has made several guest appearances since, most recently in 2022.
Meanwhile, Lacey joined EastEnders in 2004 as Stacey Slater but left in October 2025, with her character relocating to Brazil with her youngest children, Arthur and Hope, to start a new life.
Her departure came after Stacey mourned the tragic death of Martin Fowler (James Bye), who died in a devastating explosion at The Queen Vic in February 2025.

In heart-wrenching scenes, Martin had proposed to Stacey and mapped out their future together, only for medics to deliver the devastating news that his chances of survival were slim.
Martin later suffered cardiac arrest, leaving a shocked Stacey to watch helplessly, according to OK!.
Despite Lacey’s departure from the soap, her exit wasn’t meant to be permanent. An EastEnders spokesperson previously said: “We can confirm that Lacey will be off-screen later this year, but there is plenty more drama to come beforehand, and we look forward to planning Stacey’s return when Lacey decides the time is right.”
On Wednesday, January 14, Rob Kazinsky shared on Instagram that he had caught up with Lacey, sparking fresh speculation that the duo could make a joint EastEnders comeback.
Alongside a photo of himself with Lacey, Rob wrote: “Love from Brazil (seriously, whose idea was that),” referencing Stacey’s move overseas. He added, “Like time never passes with the best of the best.”
Fans were quick to react in the comments, with one writing: “Amazing, please come back to EastEnders, we need Sean back,” while another said: “Love to see you and Lacey back in EastEnders.”
A third fan added, “Would love to see you both back,” while another wrote, “Need you both back in EastEnders, my favourite characters.”
“Please come back to EastEnders,” urged one admirer, adding, “Love this. Just need Stacey and Sean back on the Square together… please.”
“Absolutely amazing, please return to EastEnders, we need Sean back,” exclaimed another fan.
