Coronation Street viewers figure out the father of Megan’s baby — and it’s neither Will nor Daniel

Posted on January 19, 2026

Megan Walsh is expecting a baby following her inappropriate relationship with schoolboy Will Driscoll on Coronation Street, but viewers of the ITV soap are certain he isn’t the father of her child.

Coronation Street fans are convinced they know who fathered Megan Walsh’s baby.

The sports coach, played by Beth Nixon, stunned her teenage victim Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale) in Monday’s episode (January 19) when she revealed the truth about her pregnancy.

Megan, who has been publicly dating Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard), has been struggling with what her future holds since discovering she is expecting.

While the news could risk exposing her dark grooming secret, Megan sees it as possibly her only chance to become a mother.

In recent scenes, Will grew concerned for Megan after she suffered a dizzy spell at school.

He tried desperately to support her, but Megan pushed him away, worried that his obvious concern might draw attention from the other students.

Later at the Rovers, Will asked Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley) and Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) about Megan’s sudden “illness,” but they refused to share any details.

When Will suggested that Megan might be seriously unwell, she was forced to reveal the truth.
“I’m not dying — I’m going to have a baby,” Megan admitted. “Your baby.”

Megan confirmed to Will that he is the father, telling him:
“You’re freaked out. I was. I still am. I was this close to having a termination yesterday — I thought it would be for the best.

“This is proof that we’re together, and nobody will understand, but this could be my only chance. I’m pregnant against all odds.”

Despite Megan’s certainty that Will is the father of her baby, fans remain unconvinced.

On X (formerly Twitter), one viewer wrote:
“I don’t think the baby is Daniel’s or Will’s. I think it’s another schoolboy’s. I don’t believe Will was Megan’s first victim. #Corrie”

Another fan commented:
“I’m convinced she’s pregnant by another young lad, not Daniel or Will, and I don’t think Will was her first victim.”

A third added:
“Megan is up to something — she left Hull. Is she running away from someone?”

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Will urges Megan to end things with Daniel this week, struggling to watch them together. Megan assures him she’ll do what she can.

At the athletics meet, a runner named Lee (Oscar Aldersley) approaches Will, reminding him of their races back in Hull. While Will is distracted, Lee contacts Megan — but what does he want?

After the race, Will takes Lee back to the pub, and Megan asks Lee to meet her in the ginnel. What does she want to tell him, and could Lee actually be the father of her baby?
