General Hospital spoilers: Drew’s testimony plays out — could the shooter finally be exposed?

Posted on December 16, 2025

General Hospital spoilers for the week of December 15–19 reveal that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is set to take the stand in Willow Tait Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) trial — and he may finally identify the person who shot him.

In the weekly GH promo, Drew is shown testifying as ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) asks him directly, “Congressman Cain, do you know who shot you?”

Drew Appears Confident as Willow and Alexis React in Shock

Drew looks calm and assured as he prepares to answer, followed by shots of Willow and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) appearing visibly stunned. To understand why, it helps to revisit events from the week of December 8–12, when Drew and Willow met at Alexis’ home to discuss the upcoming trial.

During that conversation, Drew reflected on the night he was shot. While he admitted he couldn’t recall anything concrete, he sensed there was an important detail missing — something he hadn’t yet remembered.

Will Drew’s Memory Return During Testimony?

That moment sparked plenty of buzz among GH fans, raising the question: will Drew finally remember who shot him? His confident smile in the preview hints that a major revelation could be coming. It’s possible a forgotten memory resurfaces in the days leading up to court — or even right before he testifies.

If that happens, Drew wouldn’t have time to warn Willow or Alexis beforehand.

Could Kai and Trina Trigger Drew’s Memory?

Drew may have a brief exchange with Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) before entering the courtroom — a conversation that could unlock his memory. While Kai and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) believe Drew never saw them at the house, it’s possible he remembers his assistant and Trina being there after the shooting.

If so, Drew could use that recollection to corner Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) during testimony. Still, Drew’s main suspicion has consistently pointed toward Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson).

Michael Remains Drew’s Prime Target

Fans can’t overlook the fact that Michael hasn’t been fully honest about where he was the night Drew was shot. While Drew is determined to see Michael pay, it seems unlikely that Michael actually pulled the trigger — though he may know who did.

There’s growing speculation that Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) could be responsible, with Michael possibly covering for her. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) previously revealed that Michael’s phone placed him near Drew’s home at the time of the shooting, but that alone isn’t enough to prove guilt.

Could Willow Be the Shocking Shooter?

Drew has repeatedly insisted Willow didn’t shoot him — but what if a recovered memory suggests otherwise? Would he still protect his “wife,” or would he turn against her if the truth came out?

Drew taking the stand and naming Willow as his shooter would be a jaw-dropping twist. Of course, it’s just as possible that he remembers someone else entirely — anything is possible in Port Charles.

With spoilers hinting that the “Who Shot Drew Cain?” mystery is nearing its end, viewers may finally get answers during the week of December 15–19.

Will Drew regain his memory on the witness stand and reveal the truth? Stay tuned and keep checking back for the latest General Hospital spoilers, news, and updates.
