Former Coronation Street actress Charlotte Jordan has unveiled a striking new haircut months after departing her role as Daisy Midgeley.

Coronation Street star Charlotte Jordan has surprised fans by unveiling a striking hair transformation months after her exit from the cobbles. Charlotte became a familiar face to viewers after taking on the role of barmaid Daisy Midgeley, making her first appearance on the soap in 2020. As the stepdaughter of fan-favourite Jenny Connor, played by Sally Ann Matthews, Daisy quickly grew into a much-loved character.
During her time on the show, Daisy was at the heart of several major storylines, ranging from a harrowing acid attack to unexpected romantic twists, making her time in Weatherfield particularly eventful. However, in January 2025, Charlotte announced her decision to leave the soap, and a few months later, in May, Daisy made a dramatic and memorable departure from the street.

Since leaving the soap, Charlotte has continued to thrive professionally, landing a role in the radio drama The Archers. She has also been confirmed for an upcoming BBC period drama, The Hairdresser Mysteries, where she will star alongside Sally Phillips and Charlotte Hope, according to the Mirror.
More recently, Charlotte debuted a bold new hairstyle, swapping her long locks for a much shorter cut. She showcased the dramatic transformation by sharing a collection of stylish photos on Instagram earlier this week.
The photos highlighted Charlotte’s chic cropped hairstyle as she posed in a black blazer teamed with leopard-print trousers. In the caption, she joked: “Firstly – are we all agreed leopard print is a neutral? And secondly… am I keeping or growing out the bob? I change my mind approx every three working days…” Fans and fellow stars were quick to weigh in with their opinions in the comments.
One follower wrote: “I honestly think you could pull off any hairstyle you wanted — the bob is so cute, though I do miss the long hair.”

Jenny Connor actress Sally Ann Matthews was also among those reacting, simply commenting: “Cuuuuute X.” Jack P Shepherd later joined in with a light-hearted quip, writing: “It’s growing on ya.” Another admirer added: “The bob looks beautiful, and long hair will too — you suit absolutely everything.”
Previously, Charlotte spoke candidly about her decision to step away from Coronation Street, saying she felt “incredibly grateful” for her time on the show and for the colleagues she had the chance to work alongside.
She went on to praise producer Kate Brooks, explaining that she had been “extremely supportive” of Charlotte’s desire to return to auditioning, while also being very considerate with Daisy’s exit storyline, ensuring the character was given a fitting and respectful send-off.
