“Andrew Scarborough, known for playing Graham Foster on ITV’s Emmerdale, previously appeared on a competing soap.”

Emmerdale fans were stunned after spotting Andrew Scarborough on a rival soap more than twenty years ago.
Scarborough made his Emmerdale debut in 2017 as Graham Foster—a character who quickly stirred up drama in the village.
In 2020, Graham was seemingly killed by Pierce Harris (Jonathan Wrather), the abusive ex-husband of Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry), with whom he had recently started a relationship.
However, a Corriedale episode aired in January this year revealed that Graham had survived and had been keeping a low profile for several years.

Since his comeback to the village, Graham’s presence has stirred up tensions, especially with his ex Kim Tate (Claire King) and Joe Tate (Ned Porteous), whom he had acted as a legal guardian and father figure to.
In Friday’s episode (January 30), Kim was furious to learn that Joe had agreed to let Graham stay at her Home Farm residence. However, after some advice from Joe’s fiancée Dawn (Olivia Bromley), Kim reluctantly agreed to let him stay.

While Graham is certainly set to stir up drama on Emmerdale, it seems actor Andrew Scarborough has plenty of experience in the soap world. Fans recently discovered his earlier role on ITV’s Coronation Street and were quick to gush over him.
Andrew appeared on the show from September 2000 to August 2001, playing factory owner and temporary Underworld manager Harvey Reuben.
A photo of Andrew on Corrie was recently shared on an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, captioned: “One for the ladies lol—Andrew Scarborough as Harvey in Corrie lol.”

Fans were clearly smitten, with one commenting: “Definitely ages like fine wine.” Another exclaimed: “Nooo way!!!” A third wrote: “More handsome now than back then. I love Graham and his sexy voice.” Echoing the sentiment, another fan added: “He certainly matured very well.”
Speaking about Graham’s resurrection, Andrew admitted: “I never expected it at all. Although, I did feel there was always a chance Graham could return.”
On keeping the comeback a secret from his family, Andrew, 52, said: “Yes, it was a big secret. I kept it mostly under wraps from my family, which was tricky.”
He revealed who he did confide in: “Just a select few. In fact, some cousins reached out after it aired, saying, ‘You sod!’”
