General Hospital Spoilers: Could Cullum Be Turning into Carly’s Latest Confidant?

General Hospital Spoilers: Could Cullum Be Carly’s Newest Ally?

General Hospital spoilers hint that WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) has stepped on the toes of Port Charles WSB Station Chief Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna)—and he seems to be getting away with it. His authority was made crystal clear on the piers, all while Josslyn “Joss” Jacks (Eden McCoy) listened in from nearby.

Now, Joss is stuck with Cullum, cooped up during a snowstorm at Wyndemere—the very place Jack warned her to avoid. Conveniently, Cullum is also the one person Jack didn’t want finding out about Joss’ existence.

It looks like we’re approaching the reason behind Jack’s secrecy. It wouldn’t be surprising if Cullum used his connection to Joss to get closer to her mother, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright)—a move Jack is unlikely to appreciate. But then again, it doesn’t seem like Cullum and Jack are very concerned with respecting each other’s “territory.”

Carly has had to accept this in recent months, realizing that Cullum may have used her daughter to lure her into the WSB under intense pressure and compromise—a thought that deeply troubles her.

However, Jack’s focus on Joss doesn’t mean he didn’t genuinely care for Carly. His desire to keep Cullum from learning about Joss may have been more about protecting her than pursuing any ulterior motive. If Cullum connects the dots to Jack’s girlfriend’s daughter, we can expect him to keep a closer eye on Carly—perhaps even finding a reason to become her friend.

Carly Is Not One to Be Messed With
Carly has been determined to get back at Jack ever since Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) revealed her daughter’s secret life and Jack’s involvement.

She was devastated to learn that Joss was forced into a dangerous life as a secret agent, and equally heartbroken to discover Jack lied to her—and continues to do so. Their relationship isn’t what she thought, and Carly has no future with him. By the time she’s done, Jack may be left with very little without her.

Who’s the Real Double Agent?
Joss is playing the role of the devoted daughter while subtly resisting Jack’s control. She doesn’t fully respect him—either as her mother’s boyfriend or as her boss. That could change if she sees a side of him that shows he genuinely cares, despite the mess he’s created with Carly.

Cullum, meanwhile, is clearly manipulating both sides—Jack and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota)—and possibly even Cesar Faison (Anders Hove). Carly, on her end, pretends to love Jack while plotting with his nemesis, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

Will Carly align herself with Cullum to get back at Jack? Which double agent will come out on top? Stay tuned for more GH spoilers to find out.
