Zoe Henry is best known as Rhona Goskirk on Emmerdale, but she also had a role on Coronation Street.

Emmerdale fans have expressed their surprise after discovering that actress Zoe Henry once played a major villain on Coronation Street.
Zoe, 52, has portrayed vet Rhona Goskirk on Emmerdale on and off since 2001. However, during one of her breaks from the soap, she appeared in the rival ITV show.
In 2007, she played Casey Carswell on Coronation Street, a character who terrorised Claire and Ashley Peacock on the cobbles, making their lives a misery.
On social media, one fan shared a photo of Zoe as Casey alongside Steven Arnold, who played Ashley, writing: “Zoe Henry, Rhona, when she was in Corrie, Casey Carswell with boyfriend Ashley Peacock played by Steven Arnold.”
Fans were quick to react. One said: “Wow, I really don’t remember this x,” another asked: “Was she in Corrie?” A third commented: “Don’t remember that!” while another added: “I loved Ashley, he was great.”

Elsewhere, another fan commented: “April’s mum was crazy Casey in #Corrie back in the day!! (Sorry, I’m not all that up on #Emmerdale),” while another wrote: “Watching Rhona from #Emmerdale in #ClassicCorrie as Casey, playing a total opposite of her Emmerdale character… great acting from @ZoeHenry03 to portray such different roles. #Corrie.”
In the Coronation Street storyline, Claire, played by Julia Haworth, first met Casey through her voluntary phone counselling work. After getting to know her, Claire left Casey in charge of her newborn son, Freddie, while she went out.
When Claire returned to find both Casey and Freddie gone, she panicked and called the police, fearing that Casey had kidnapped him. It was soon revealed that Casey had simply taken Freddie for a drive, leaving her frustrated that Claire had involved the authorities.
Feeling upset, Casey drove away just as the police arrived. A few weeks later, she was seen stalking Claire and was suspected of being behind a fire at their home.
When her photograph appeared in the Weatherfield Gazette and on the news, Casey voluntarily went to the police, but she was later released due to insufficient evidence.

After a confrontation, Casey and Claire eventually reconciled, but Casey soon took an interest in Claire’s husband, Ashley, after Claire confided that her marriage might be in trouble. It wasn’t long before Casey made her move, and the two began an affair.
In a worrying turn, Casey started behaving like Ashley’s wife and Joshua’s mother while Claire was away, following her own advice. Audrey Roberts grew concerned after noticing Casey’s behaviour and confronted Ashley, who admitted to the affair.
During a later confrontation between Audrey and Casey, Casey hinted that she, Ashley, and Joshua would soon become a proper family, and that neither Audrey nor Claire would be able to stop it.
When Claire returned and discovered that Casey had made herself at home in their family, she confronted her and demanded that she leave. Meanwhile, Ashley lied about the affair, insisting that nothing had ever happened between him and Casey.

Casey’s obsession with Ashley escalated, taking a dangerous turn when she kidnapped his son with Claire, holding young Freddie — and herself — on a balcony.
As Ashley tried to calm her, Casey confessed to starting the fire and insisted that Claire was standing in the way of their “true love.” Realising the severity of the threat, Ashley attempted to convince her that her feelings for him were imaginary.
The situation worsened when Claire arrived. Casey forced Ashley to admit the affair to Claire and then coerced him into proposing to her.
Ultimately, after a tense standoff, the police arrived and arrested Casey. It was later revealed that she was deemed mentally unfit to stand trial and would be sectioned indefinitely under the Mental Health Act, as she posed a serious danger to herself, the Peacocks, and others.
Alongside her role as Casey, Zoe also portrayed Log Thwaite on Coronation Street in 1998.
