General Hospital spoilers suggest Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) may end up taunting Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) after securing his congressional seat.
Willow currently holds a significant position of power over Drew and has already bragged about shooting him twice and being responsible for his so-called “stroke.” Could she push things even further by boasting about taking over his spot in Congress?
Nina Reeves Supports Her Daughter
Spoilers for the Wednesday, February 18 episode revealed Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) urging Willow to seize the opportunity and finish out Drew’s term in office.
After Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) floated the idea, Willow shared the proposal with her mother — and Nina fully backed the plan for her daughter to step into Drew’s role. Though Willow initially hesitated, by the end of the episode it was clear she was ready to claim the congressional seat, especially with Nina’s encouragement.
At the same time, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) presented a similar suggestion to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). While Alexis appears prepared to move forward with Laura’s proposal, that decision could change if Sidwell pressures Laura into recommending Willow instead. Sidwell is, after all, blackmailing Laura over the Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) situation.
Drew Cain Faces a Shock
GH spoilers hint that Drew will receive a major shock during the Thursday, February 19 episode, likely when Willow informs him about what’s happened.
However, she may not simply deliver the news — she could revel in it. Willow’s resentment toward her husband has become increasingly obvious, and viewers have already seen her needle Drew while he’s been bedridden and unable to respond due to the drugs she’s been administering.
Now that she’s secured his congressional position, Willow may fully embrace her villainous side. She may have no hesitation in rubbing salt in Drew’s wounds, reminding him that she’s the reason he’s confined to that hospital bed — and that she now holds his coveted government role as well.
