Kirsten Storms Shares Health Update
As many GH viewers know, Kirsten previously stepped away from daytime television to focus on her wellbeing. She also relocated from Los Angeles to Nashville, where she is currently raising her daughter, Harper.
Posting a photo on Instagram, Kirsten began by showing off a cozy cardigan she made herself. She joked that despite spending her life in Florida and California, she still enjoys dressing for colder weather.
However, she quickly turned to a more serious topic, updating fans on her ongoing health journey.
Kirsten explained: “My last appointment was with a new neurosurgeon in St. Louis. He told me that I’m in the ‘gray zone’ for the aneurysm procedure. It’s not very small, but it’s also not at the size where surgery is mandatory.”
What’s Next for Kirsten Storms?
She went on to say: “I’m trying to decide whether I’m comfortable with a ‘wait and see if it gets worse’ approach. I do know that I’m not eager to jump straight onto an operating table. (Please refer to my post from 2021 following my craniotomy—the photo of the back of my head may explain why this is a difficult subject for me to talk about openly.)”
Kirsten also hinted that fans could see her return to Port Charles sooner rather than later—a hopeful sign for GH viewers.
While she didn’t confirm a timeline, fans are already keeping their fingers crossed that Maxie Jones will be back on screen in the new year.
