General Hospital (GH) star Chris McKenna (Jack Brennan) on the ABC daytime drama has a habit of sharing his thoughts while on the road. After a long break, he’s started it up again, explaining, “it’s the new year,” and posting his musings on social media, much to fans’ delight.
‘Driving Thoughts’ With Chris
If you remember, Sister Wives star Christine Brown Woolley used to share her “Car Confessions.” Chris has his own version, called “Driving Thoughts,” where he talks about life while driving somewhere.
The real Jack Brennan, much like Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain), shared with his GH fans on Instagram that he’d been under the weather over the holidays. Even “little baby Spencer had a cold,” and the entire family was feeling sick. Chris also mentioned that during a trip to Sweden, they “ended up getting everybody there sick.”
Getting Sick… Again
When they returned to Connecticut, they finally started feeling better. Unfortunately, things took a turn when his wife said the other day, “I think I’ve got a cold.” Chris wasn’t thrilled, remarking, “there’s no way that is happening.”
True to his Jack Brennan persona, he initially thought she was just “being dramatic.” But now Chris has come down with another cold himself, and he’s not happy about it. As anyone who’s had a cold knows, it can be disruptive — it kept him “up half the night.”
Filming While Sick
Of course, being under the weather didn’t make acting on General Hospital any easier. Chris joked that he was probably driving home from the set because he “coughed my way through the scene.” He warned fans that they might hear some of that when the episode airs.
