Coronation Street’s Daniel Brocklebank posted an adorable holiday photo with his boyfriend following his character’s exit from the ITV soap.
Coronation Street star Daniel Brocklebank has left fans swooning after sharing a selfie with his actor boyfriend, with many dubbing them a “handsome couple.”
Daniel first appeared on the ITV soap in 2014 as vicar Billy Mayhew and quickly became a fan favourite. Over the years, his character has been at the centre of numerous dramatic storylines, including murder and struggles with drug addiction.
Billy’s love life was also a major part of his narrative, featuring notable relationships with Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) and his late husband Paul Foreman (Peter Ash), who tragically passed away from motor neurone disease in 2024.
In a surprising twist last year, showrunners decided to write Billy out of the soap. By January 2026, his character met an untimely death during a crossover episode with Emmerdale.
In a dramatic episode, Billy and several other Weatherfield residents were caught in a catastrophic multi-vehicle accident. Tragically, Billy—who was driving the minibus—was left to die in the resulting explosion by the villainous Theo Silverton (James Cartwright), according to the Mirror.
Off-screen, Daniel is happily in a relationship with Jordan Coulthard, an actor, musician, and former police officer. The couple went public with their romance on Instagram in 2023 and have been going strong ever since.
The couple recently enjoyed some sunshine on a getaway, sharing glimpses of their luxurious trip with Instagram followers. On Sunday, January 25, Daniel posted a sweet photo of himself with Jordan during their travels, captioning it: “That was a welcome break.”
Fans were quick to shower the pair with compliments in the comments. One admirer wrote, “Very handsome couple! So glad you enjoyed your break,” while another added, “Gorgeous couple.”
Last year, Jordan spoke warmly about Daniel following the release of his dance track Climax, revealing how his actor boyfriend encouraged him to pursue his musical ambitions.
Jordan shared: “Dan has been so supportive. I’d been working on my music long before we met, but honestly, he’s given me the push I needed.
“He comes from a completely different world and told me, ‘It is absolutely achievable’ when it comes to my music goals. Where I grew up, in a small town, people said, ‘Yeah, that’s great, but you need a proper job.’
“Dan has really sparked something in me, making me realise this isn’t an impossible goal—it can happen. He’s been one of my biggest supporters.”
