BBC viewers were introduced to newcomer Bea Pollard on EastEnders last week

EastEnders fans think they’ve uncovered newcomer Bea Pollard’s long-lost sibling in a major DNA twist.
Bea (played by Ronni Ancona) made her first appearance on BBC One last week (January 7) when Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) decided to revisit her school days at a reunion.
Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) was excited about the event and offered to accompany Linda as she reconnected with her former classmates. However, when they arrived, their identities were being checked at the door. Linda quickly handed Honey a name badge, instructing her to pretend to be “Bea,” assuming the real Bea wouldn’t show up.
The real Bea soon arrived and questioned why Honey was wearing her name tag. The pair then started talking about Linda, with Bea revealing a very different side to the Albert Square veteran. The ex-pub landlady had allegedly bullied Bea during their school years, leaving Honey shocked, according to OK!.

In an effort to mend her relationship with her former schoolmate, Linda has allowed Bea to stay at 5 Albert Square, where Max Branning (Jake Wood) is also temporarily living.
In Monday’s episode (January 12), now available on BBC iPlayer, Bea got an unexpected surprise when she accidentally spotted Max coming out of the bathroom. “The lock’s broken,” Max admitted.
Linda then offered to collect Bea’s belongings from her old flat, with Honey joining her. When two black bin bags were tossed through the doorway, Bea’s former flatmate, Marcus (Neil Haigh), took the opportunity to deliver some cutting remarks about her.
“That’s everything. Can’t say I’ll miss her,” he said, prompting Honey to reply: “You’re not very nice, are you? What kind of man throws a woman out at night just because she forgot her keys — which, by the way, was actually my fault.”
Marcus shot back: “Well then, you have my eternal gratitude. Bea’s been a thorn in my side since the day I met her. Now she’s your problem. Good luck.”

Now, many EastEnders viewers are speculating that Bea and Honey could be siblings, noting several similarities between the two.
“I love Bea, but I can’t help thinking she’s Honey’s sister — not just in how she behaves, but how she looks too. I hope the writers explore the Honey connection with Bea more, though it’s nice to see Linda getting a fun storyline,” one viewer wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
Another commented: “I’m not really warming to Bea yet, but she seems very much like Honey — they could be sisters.” A third added: “Bea and Honey are very alike.”
At the same time, some fans are speculating that Bea could be Max’s mysterious 2027 bride after their awkward shower encounter in today’s episode. “I’m calling it now… Bea is the bride Max marries on NYD,” predicted one fan.
