EastEnders viewers realise who Bea is really after, and it’s not Honey

Posted on February 3, 2026

EastEnders fans believe they’ve figured out Bea Pollard’s true identity and her real target in Albert Square

EastEnders fans believe they’ve worked out Bea Pollard’s true identity and who she’s really targeting on the BBC One soap.

Bea, played by Ronni Ancona, made her first appearance last month after bumping into Linda Carter at a school reunion, while Honey Mitchell was pretending to be her.

When Bea revealed she was at risk of eviction from her landlord, Linda kindly offered her a place to stay at Peacock Palace. Bea then tried to find work around Albert Square but was turned down by both Ian Beale and the Minute Mart.

Taking matters into her own hands, Bea staged a fake incident at the Minute Mart last week, leaving Honey shocked when she discovered two teenage girls apparently vandalising the shop.

Bea conveniently appeared just in time to help Honey deal with the troublemakers and clean up the shop, impressing Vinny Panesar enough to offer her a probationary role at the Minute Mart, according to OK!.

It was later revealed that Bea had orchestrated the entire scenario, with the girls acting under her instructions solely to secure herself the job at the Minute Mart.

Following this reveal, Monday’s episode showed Honey training Bea on her first day at the shop, when Vinny arrived with a reluctant Nugget for work experience.

However, Bea clashed with Vinny over his treatment of Honey, and the situation worsened when Honey hurt her back after tripping over merchandise and a ladder while on duty.

Frustrated by Suki Panesar’s sharp behaviour towards Honey, Bea encouraged her to take legal action against the Panesars over her workplace injury, and even tempted her to sample wine from the shop’s stock.

As Bea stirs up mystery in Albert Square, some soap fans believe they’ve worked out her true identity.

Flooding social media, one viewer speculated: “Is Bea one of the Fords? #EastEnders,” while another wrote: “I reckon Bea is one of the Fords who’s after Cindy Beale.”

Another fan posted: “Oh yeah!!!! Could be Bea!” and a different viewer added: “Ooh! Good call!” Meanwhile, someone else noted: “Well, Bea is the first three letters of Beale, so this could be a clue.”

So, what secrets is Bea hiding, and who is she really targeting in Albert Square?
