Emmerdale actress Sammy Winward’s daughter is showing off her baby bump but hasn’t informed her famous mum about her pregnancy.

Mia, 20, explained that in 2024 she was cut off by Sammy after she began selling content on OnlyFans, and she has remained estranged from both her mother and her father, former footballer David Dunn, ever since.
On Wednesday (January 14), Mia announced that she is expecting her first child but has not informed her parents, as she hasn’t had contact with them in two years due to their dispute over her adult content career.
Mia proudly displayed her baby bump while out in Manchester City Centre, wearing a brown unitard and beaming as she cradled her bump for the cameras.
The model, who has stepped away from OnlyFans after discovering her pregnancy, looked radiant with a full face of makeup and stayed cozy in a beige fur coat during her outing.
She revealed that her pregnancy feels “bittersweet” because of the family dispute. Speaking to The Sun, she said: “I haven’t reached out to them yet and they don’t really know how to contact me. I am emotionally vulnerable while I’m pregnant and I really don’t want a big, stressful situation.”
She added: “Now that I have my own baby growing inside me, I just can’t imagine not being in touch with my child.”
Mia said she wants to repair her relationship with her parents but acknowledged, “we’ve got a lot to work through.” She added, “there’s a lot to forgive, and that process hasn’t even begun yet.”
The model added that browsing for baby clothes with her actress mum “would be such a lovely experience.” She thinks Sammy would make “an incredible grandma” and says she wants her parents involved in both her life and her child’s.
Mia now resides in the Lake District with her partner, the father of her unborn baby. The couple have been together for a year, though she has chosen not to disclose his name.
In August 2024, Mia revealed that she hadn’t spoken to Sammy, who played Katie Sugden in the ITV soap from 2001 to 2015, for several months. She told The Sun: “The last time we spoke, she said some really hurtful things, it was awful. But I absolutely love my mum, I love all of my family, yet none of them talk to me now.”
Mia also claimed that her family had sent her “abuse” over the phone, explaining: “At this point, it feels like it’s up to them to reach out because I’ve tried to keep in contact in the past and they just won’t have any of it, and then I end up getting all the abuse through calls, texts, everything.”
