Emmerdale’s Lawrence Robb, known for playing Mack, is dating a well-known actress.
Emmerdale’s Mackenzie Boyd may have a turbulent love life on screen, but off-screen, actor Lawrence Robb is happily in a relationship with fellow actress Pamela Blair.
Lawrence rose to fame when he joined the ITV soap in 2020 as Mack, the brother of Moira Dingle (Natalie J. Robb). Since then, he has been at the centre of several major storylines.
Recently, Mack was involved in the disastrous Corriedale crash and has also had to deal with his pregnant wife Charity’s (Emma Atkins) tangled web of lies and deceit.
While Mack’s on-screen life has been full of drama and heartbreak, Lawrence’s real-life romance appears to be going strong.
In 2024, Lawrence first sparked speculation about a “secret” girlfriend when he shared photos from a holiday in Antigua, including a glimpse of Pamela’s tattooed arm, hinting he wasn’t alone. The couple, who tend to keep their relationship private, made their red carpet debut at the Scottish BAFTAs, according to the Mirror.
Since then, they’ve occasionally posted sweet updates, sharing moments with their dogs and snapshots from a scenic getaway along the Cornwall coast.
Theatre and musical fans will know Pamela from her role in the hit production The Devil Wears Prada: The Musical, where she played Chanteuse and Emily, performing alongside Vanessa Williams.
Her other theatre credits include Beauty and the Beast, Oklahoma!, Cinderella, 42nd Street, and Curtains. The talented actress has also appeared in the film Tomorrow Morning and made TV appearances on the BBC Proms and ITV’s The Olivier Awards.
Lawrence also spoke warmly about Pamela during a visit to ITV’s Lorraine last year. During his chat with Lorraine Kelly, it was revealed that the interview nearly hit a snag after he forgot to bring his interview clothes.
Lorraine Kelly teased Lawrence on-air, saying: “I’m so glad you’re sitting there looking so refined, so elegant, so beautiful. Can I tell the nation that you forgot your clothes this morning? You didn’t turn up naked or anything—you had your sports gear on, and someone had to come to your rescue.”
Luckily, Lawrence’s girlfriend Pamela came to the rescue and made sure he could wear the outfit he had planned. He recalled: “My gorgeous girlfriend went back home halfway through our car journey to grab it, then took the tube to get here… it was very dramatic. She’s a keeper.”
