Emmerdale Star Eden Taylor-Draper Shares Pictures From Her Recent Holiday
Emmerdale star Eden Taylor-Draper has shared romantic snaps with her rarely seen boyfriend. The 28-year-old actress is best known for playing Belle Dingle on the ITV soap, a role she took over from Emily Mather in 2005.
Belle has been central to countless memorable storylines over the years, including falling down a mineshaft, accidentally causing the death of her best friend Gemma Andrews (Tendai Rinomhota), having an affair with Dr. Jermaine Bailey (Micah Balfour), faking a pregnancy, and being diagnosed with schizophrenia.
The beloved character also had a relationship with serial killer Lachlan White (Thomas Atkinson) and was at the center of a high-profile 2024 storyline involving coercive control and abuse at the hands of her husband Tom King (James Chase).
Off-screen, Eden has been in a relationship with Ed Lewis since 2016. According to the Mirror, the couple are believed to have first met while attending Harrogate Grammar School in North Yorkshire.
The young couple share a love of travel, often posting pictures from their trips around the world on Instagram, including a festive visit to Vienna’s Christmas markets in Austria.
Recently, Eden and Ed traveled to Australia and Vietnam, with the actress sharing several snapshots from their adventure on Instagram this Tuesday (January 13).
Accompanied by themed emojis — including a koala, a beach, and the flags of Australia and Vietnam — Eden posted a photo of the pair perched atop a mountain, with stunning rural scenery stretching out behind them. The post also featured images of the couple enjoying a jet ski ride, relaxing on the beach, and taking in a sunset and lush jungle landscapes.
Several of Eden’s Emmerdale co-stars left supportive comments. Isabel Hodgins, who plays Victoria Sugden, wrote: “Just the absolute best” with a heart emoji. Laura Norton, who portrays Kerry Pollard, added: “Gorgeous babe.” Another fan chimed in: “Love these and love you.”
A friend shared similar sentiments, commenting: “Fab photos Eden — looks like you and Ed had an amazing time!” while another enthusiastically added: “The best! What a trip.”
Meanwhile, on-screen, Eden’s character Belle recently organised a secret wedding for Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) and Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant), cleverly disguised as a gender reveal party.
However, the plan hit a hiccup when Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) and Kerry unexpectedly tied the knot first, beating the young couple to the altar. Viewers know that Pollard’s marriage to Kerry is a financial move to secure Jacob’s inheritance, though the rest of the village remains unaware of his true intentions.
Despite the setbacks, Sarah and Jacob eventually exchanged vows a few days later in a heartwarming ceremony at the Woolpack. It’s been a busy time for wedding planner Belle, who also organised the nuptials of Coronation Street’s Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) and Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan), which took place just prior to last week’s Corriedale crash.
