Emmerdale’s Graham secret affair ‘revealed’ — and it isn’t with Rhona

Posted on February 7, 2026

Emmerdale fans believe they’ve worked out Graham Foster’s latest romance following his shock return from the dead — and it’s not with Rhona Goskirk.

ITV viewers will remember that Graham (Andrew Scarborough) was killed off in a whodunnit storyline six years ago. While his wife Kim Tate (Claire King) was initially suspected of being behind his death, it was ultimately Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) who was sent to prison for the crime.

Fans were therefore stunned when Graham resurfaced in the village during last month’s Corriedale crossover. In a flashback scene, he paid a visit to his ex Rhona (Zoe Henry), explaining that he had returned to help April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) escape from villain Ray Walters (Joe Absolom).

Graham later went to Home Farm to see Kim and his former right-hand man Joe Tate (Ned Porteous). Despite Graham attempting to justify why he faked his death, Joe was unimpressed and contacted the police.

However, Joe’s fiancée Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley) later persuaded him to give Graham another chance. Soon after, Graham moved into the spare room at Home Farm in an effort to make amends.

During Friday’s episode (February 6), now available to stream on ITVX, Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) and Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) were left stunned when they discovered Graham in the kitchen at Home Farm.

Determined to get ahead of the rumour mill, Joe and Graham decided to reveal publicly that Graham was still alive by making a bold appearance in the village. The pair headed to the Woolpack for a drink, leaving locals shocked as they walked in.

“Have I had one too many?” Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) quipped, to which Joe jokingly replied: “Have you never seen Jesus Christ Superstar before?”

As onlookers stared in disbelief, Ruby Milligan (Beth Cordingly) approached Graham to introduce herself. “Whoever you are, you’ve definitely mastered the dramatic entrance,” she remarked.

After briefly catching up with Ruby’s husband, Caleb (William Ash), Graham and Joe sat down to wait for their drinks. However, Charity (Emma Atkins) was unimpressed by Graham’s nonchalant return and quickly ordered the pair to leave the pub.

“Why are you really back? Come on, Sherlock — helping April might be one excuse, but you can’t rewrite the past,” she warned, suggesting that Graham had returned because of Rhona — something he quickly denied.

“I hope I am wrong,” she added, “because Marlon’s had a hard enough time lately without you throwing a spanner in his marriage.”

Now, several Emmerdale fans think Graham could soon find himself in a secret romance — but not with Rhona. Instead, many viewers are speculating that he could form a connection with Ruby.

“After that entrance in the pub, I can definitely see Ruby and Graham having a fling,” one fan wrote on a Facebook page. Another agreed, posting: “Oooh yes, I can totally see that happening.” A third added: “It wouldn’t surprise me, especially considering she previously slept with her husband’s brother. What a twist.”
