“Fans flooded the adored Emmerdale stars with messages”
Two Emmerdale stars have delighted fans by giving a glimpse of their wedding day.
Max Parker and Kris Mochrie first appeared on the popular ITV soap in 2019, with Max playing Luke Posner, the son of Wendy Posner (Susan Cookson), and Kris portraying his brother, Lee.
Lee’s character tragically died that same year following a confrontation with Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley), while Luke remained on the show until 2021.
After meeting on set, Kris and Max began a romance. They went public with their relationship in July 2020, and by the end of the year, they had moved in together.
In January 2022, Max took their relationship to the next level by proposing to a surprised Kris on a beach. By August, the couple tied the knot at the Wilderness Reserve in Suffolk, according to the Mirror.
Weddings at this luxurious venue start from around £65,000, and Max and Kris’ multi-day celebration saw them celebrate in the lavish Chapel Barn on the estate. Guests were even given ‘KM’-branded Tony’s Chocolonely chocolate bars as wedding favors.
Guests also enjoyed £82-a-bottle Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé. At the time, a source told The Sun that the lavish celebrations likely cost the couple around £100,000.
On Sunday (January 4), Kris shared a heartfelt Instagram post reflecting on the past year, alongside a playful photo from his wedding day with Max. The picture captured the couple mid-jump, looking dapper in their suits.
In the caption, Kris wrote: “Happy New Year! The last day of saying it before the world opens for business again tomorrow. What a year!!!”
“The BEST moments of my life, and some of the most challenging for me and those around us. Thank you for all the love and support. Here’s to jumping into 2026 and everything it brings.”
The post was met with an outpouring of love from fans, who flooded the comments with praise. One wrote, “Gorgeous couple.”
Another commented, “What a photo, what a year—here’s to 2026.” A third added, “Happy New Year, handsomes.” Another fan wrote, “Always wonderful to see happy people. Wishing you health and happiness in 2026.”
