Carly Was Enraged Over Brennan Secretly Recruiting Josslyn for the WSB

Carly was livid when she discovered that Brennan had quietly recruited Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) into the WSB without telling her.

Carly Is Angry About Josslyn’s Risk — But Doesn’t See Brennan as a Villain

Although Carly remains deeply upset about the danger Josslyn is facing, she doesn’t believe Brennan is truly evil. That perception softened even more after Valentin helped her uncover the truth about the dropped racketeering charges.

Carly was stunned when Valentin suggested that Brennan had used his WSB influence to make the incriminating video evidence disappear. Realising Brennan had done this for her left Carly genuinely moved.

Carly Believed Brennan Stayed Silent to Avoid Making Her Feel Obligated

Carly assumed Brennan kept his actions secret because he didn’t want her to feel indebted to him.

Valentin, however, called that view “dangerously naïve,” arguing that Brennan likely withheld the information until it could benefit him most. Even so, Carly seems to be coming to terms with the fact that Brennan is far more complex than she originally thought.

Brennan is clearly a layered character with multiple motivations, and there have been plenty of times when he has come through for Carly and her family.

The Josslyn Situation Doesn’t Erase Brennan’s Past Good Deeds

In Carly’s eyes, Brennan’s decision involving Josslyn doesn’t completely wipe away all the kindness and support he’s shown her in the past.

At some point, Carly may decide to walk away from her revenge scheme — but by then, it may already be too late. She’s deeply entangled in this plan with Valentin and has been secretly hiding Brennan’s movements from the very man hunting him.

Even if Carly tries to put an end to the payback plot, Brennan is bound to uncover the truth — and his reaction could be explosive. He may ultimately turn against Carly, regardless of her change of heart, potentially destroying their relationship altogether.
