General Hospital spoilers suggest Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) is at the center of a troubling rumor that GH may be about to lose one of its leading men — for good.
Well, as permanent as death can be on a show known for bringing characters back from the dead. Still, with chatter circulating that a major character might be killed off, fan speculation is running rampant.
It wouldn’t be surprising if Chase were the one in danger, considering his storyline has felt somewhat stagnant since his family disappeared all at once. While stepping into the Quartermaine world has been entertaining, it hasn’t replaced the role his father and brother played in his life.
Now that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) has reassigned Chase to the streets as a patrol officer, it raises the question: are his days numbered before he’s taken out in the line of duty?
The Blame Game Will Be Intense
If Chase goes back to the PCPD to rebuild his career from scratch, he’s going to face challenges. He’s unhappy about starting over, and it’s unclear if he and Dante can ever repair their relationship.
Still, Chase is determined to remain a cop, meaning he’ll have to begin at the ground level to work his way back to detective.
And he’s stepping into a storm: Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) could erupt into conflict, or Josslyn “Joss” Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) might ignite WSB chaos that drags the PCPD into danger. Could Chase end up in the line of fire?
GH Spoilers: Willow Could Heighten the Drama
If Chase dies, it would be a huge blow to fans — and Willow Tait Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) may feel it the most.
Should he be killed, expect her to make a dramatic appearance at his funeral. While Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) might be his official partner, onlookers could be confused seeing Willow in tears over his casket.
She may have believed that getting back at Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was her final step before pursuing Chase again, but the Quartermaines may have other plans if she doesn’t rein in her theatrics.
Dante Could Be Consumed by Guilt
If Chase is killed, Dante will feel the loss profoundly — not only because Chase is his friend and partner, but because he was the one who demoted him.
Had Dante not been so hard on Chase, intentionally or not, Chase might not have ended up in such a dangerous beat cop role.
Losing Chase would sting even more for Dante, as he understands firsthand the pain of being blindsided and losing someone you envisioned a future with — a feeling he has experienced twice.
If Chase dies, it could change Dante in ways fans may never see him fully recover from. Stay tuned for more General Hospital news and spoilers to see how this unfolds.
