General Hospital spoilers reveal that Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) is set to make two arrests this week, and I have a few guesses about who might be cuffed.
Sure, these arrests could stem from a variety of incidents, but I suspect they’ll most likely tie into the investigation surrounding Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting.
However, there’s also a chance these arrests could be tied to the investigation into Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) whereabouts.
Can you picture Valentin being hauled off to jail with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) right behind him for aiding and abetting him? Ouch! If that happens, I wouldn’t be surprised if a vengeful Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) tipped off the authorities. That said, it’s more likely Valentin will stay in hiding for longer than a week, so my money’s on these arrests being connected to Drew’s shooting.
Justice Catches Up with Curtis and Selina
When Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) asked DA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) who she intended to target — Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) or Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) — she didn’t hesitate. She felt the evidence against Willow was stronger, especially after reviewing traffic cam footage that placed her near Drew’s neighborhood, despite her earlier claims that she hadn’t been anywhere near there that night.
DA Turner was confident in pursuing Willow first and noted they could always revisit charges against Curtis later.
With Selina Wu (Lydia Look) back in town, there may be new ways to build the case — especially if Brad Cooper’s (Parry Shen) return somehow ties him to his aunt’s actions. Could Brad have been the “perfect guy” for the job, according to Selina?
GH Spoilers: Two Quartermaines, One Stone
It’s also worth considering Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) recent return home. Could new PCPD footage show that she arrived at Drew’s before alerting the authorities?
Is it possible she shot him, panicked, and then pretended to have discovered him? Or might the footage show Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) at the scene around the same time as Tracy? That could create damaging evidence if it’s revealed Michael and Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) weren’t actually together that night.
Could someone eavesdrop and overhear this, setting off new questions? The police will likely want to know why Tracy didn’t mention seeing Michael there.
Willow and Portia Both Hiding Secrets
Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is on trial this week for Drew’s attempted murder, and his testimony could be decisive.
But what if Willow really did shoot Drew — even if she doesn’t remember it due to a mental break during the incident? Meanwhile, Portia has also been dishonest about her whereabouts that night, which could expose her affair with Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson).
Her daughter, Trina Robinson (Tanyana Ali), may decide to protect her mom by revealing the truth about her and Kai Taylor’s (Jen’s Austin Astrup) presence at Drew’s — which could land both in jail. So, who will Chase be slapping handcuffs on this Friday? Stay tuned for more GH spoilers to find out!
