General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) asked Selina Wu (Lydia Look) to take out Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Though Curtis had second thoughts, he may still be in Selina’s crosshairs.
Selina is a ruthless gangster and the aunt of Brad Cooper (Parry Shen). Her treatment of him as mere chattel highlights her view of people as pawns to be manipulated. Brad has been under her control before and has hated it, yet he’s often been forced to do her dirty work to keep her business running because he had little choice.
Whenever Selina needs something that can’t be trusted to a hired hand, she turns to Brad.
This raises a key question: does Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) have something Selina wants?
Brad knows little about Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), only what Britt has told him. Britt is back in Port Charles, alive again, and involved in cold fusion experiments and other mysterious activities. Over a dine-and-dash dinner, Britt briefed Brad on radioactive science, cold fusion, treaty violations, bombs, and employers who offer no retirement plans.
If Selina wants information on Sidwell’s operations, she only needs Brad to listen and learn through Britt.
When Curtis arranged for Selina to eliminate Drew Cain, then changed his mind, it wasn’t a simple matter. Nothing is ever straightforward in the world of mobsters.
Selina isn’t the type to let Curtis back out go unnoticed—she’s a shark who keeps receipts. Remember, she also provided Drew with evidence against Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). By keeping that proof, Selina holds leverage over Curtis, in addition to the fact that he ordered a hit on a congressman.
