General Hospital fans were devastated to learn of Tony Geary’s passing. The beloved actor was best known for his iconic role as Luke Spencer. After his time on the show, Tony and his husband, Claudio Gama, had relocated to Amsterdam. On Tuesday, following Tony’s funeral, Claudio shared a heartfelt tribute.
A Final Farewell
In his Instagram post, Claudio didn’t just share a photo of Tony. Fans could see that he had arranged photos and other keepsakes on a table. Adding a touching touch, Tony’s cat Max was sitting in front of one of the framed pictures. The photos were credited to Jim Warren
The caption’s message was both heartbreaking and touching. Claudio wrote, “We said our last goodbyes to Tony,” continuing with, “He is now resting where the stars shine bright, and he will always be missed.”
Gratitude Amid Pain
The tribute went on to express gratitude: “We would like to thank all of Tony’s friends and colleagues for the wonderful support and respect you have shown him.” A special note of thanks was also extended to his fans: “To all of Tony’s fans, thank you for your kind words, support, and condolences.”

Tony Geary was deeply loved by his fellow cast members, many of whom shared their own tributes to the late, real-life Luke Spencer. They also reached out to Claudio and the family personally.
