“Luba Mushtak will feature on the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special on BBC One, dancing with her partner Nicholas Bailey from EastEnders.”
Strictly Come Dancing professional Luba Mushtak has revealed she will be spending Christmas Day on her own this year.
The dancer made the announcement during Monday’s episode of Loose Women (December 22), appearing alongside EastEnders star Nicholas Bailey ahead of their performance in the Strictly Christmas special.
Luba and Nicholas will take to the dance floor on Christmas Day, competing against five other celebrity pairs for the title of Strictly Christmas Champion.
When the discussion with Loose Women panellists Jane Moore, Frankie Bridge, Judi Love, and Nadia Sawalha turned to festive plans, Luba mentioned that she intends to spend the day alone, focusing on some home decorating.

She said, “I am painting my walls. My choice, on my own, having a lovely time, and I think some people would actually love that—just doing what they want,” according to Wales Online.
Embracing her solo plans, Luba added, “But I’m enjoying it. I just feel like I need some time to myself, have some ice cream, watch movies, and paint my walls.”
Judi responded, “That’s so nice,” while Jane asked which celebrity Luba would most like to dance with on Strictly Come Dancing.
“I’d love to dance with Gordon Ramsay,” Luba replied, jokingly adding, “Gordon, call me.”

The Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special will be the final time hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman present the BBC competition.
Head Judge Shirley Ballas will return to the panel, joined by Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, and Anton Du Beke, ready to judge the festive performances.
In the star-studded line-up, Luba and Nicholas will be joined by Gogglebox’s Scarlett Moffatt, who will dance with Vito Coppola, while singer and cook Melanie Blatt is set to impress with Kai Widdrington.

Jodie Ounsley, famously known as Fury from Gladiators, will be dancing with Neil Jones, while comedian Babatunde Aléshé is paired with Nancy Xu.
Former Westlife singer Brian McFadden will also take to the floor, performing alongside professional dancer Michelle Tsiakkas.
Catch the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special on BBC One and iPlayer, starting at 5:30 pm on Christmas Day.
