Following their quarter-final elimination from the BBC series, the Strictly Come Dancing pair have announced plans to reunite.
*Strictly Come Dancing stars Lewis Cope and Katya Jones are set to reunite on the dance floor following their shock exit from the hit BBC show.
The duo were eliminated just two weeks before the final after landing in the bottom two alongside Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin.
Fans will soon have the opportunity to see them perform together again, as the pair have announced plans to host a one-off dance workshop in Lewis’s hometown of Hartlepool.
In a video shared on Katya’s Instagram Stories, the Emmerdale actor explained: “So many people have been messaging and commenting saying they want to dance with us.” Katya then added: “So we’ve decided we want to dance with you.”
Lewis went on to say: “We’re going to do a workshop in Hartlepool. The link will be around here and in our bios. If you want to come and dance with us, meet us, ask us questions and hang out with us – how exciting!” according to Wales Online.*.

*Tickets for the event are available via a provided link, with the workshop scheduled for Sunday, 22nd February, from 10am to 11:30am. General admission costs £75, plus a £2 booking fee.
The reunion follows their surprising exit from the dance competition during the quarter-finals, despite being tipped as favourites to win.
After leaving the show, Lewis paid tribute to his dance partner Katya, saying: “It’s been incredible and will be a memory for the rest of my life. I think it’s all down to you – you’ve given me everything, both as a friend and as a teacher.”
An emotional Katya responded: “You’ve created so many unforgettable moments for Strictly Come Dancing that will go down in history. You will be remembered as the best male celebrity we’ve ever had on the show.”*

*“I really hope Lewis Cope will be remembered for the incredible person he is,” Katya said, describing him as a “kind, humble gentleman.”
Reflecting on the impact of the programme, Lewis added: “What is life without people? I’ve seen how it brings people together. The show uplifts people. It’s brought my family—four generations—together every Saturday night.
“Even young lads who thought it wasn’t for them have taken up dancing. If you’ve changed even one person’s life like that, then that’s enough.”
Following their exit, Karen Carney and Carlos Gu went on to win the Glitterball Trophy.*
