Coronation Street introduced a new mystery involving Jodie Ramsey during Wednesday’s episode of the popular ITV soap.

Coronation Street viewers believe they’ve uncovered the truth behind newcomer Jodie Ramsey’s collection of keepsakes.
Fans will recall that Jodie, played by Olivia Frances Brown, made her debut on the cobbles last month during the Corriedale crossover special, when it was revealed she is Shona Platt’s long-lost sister.
In Monday’s episode, Shona grew suspicious that Jodie was hiding something and, determined to track down their missing father Doug, followed her to a psychiatric hospital.
Inside the facility, an emotional Jodie introduced their confused and estranged dad. She then explained that she had been left to care for him after their mother walked out on them.
The revelation left Shona clearly emotional as she comforted Jodie and assured her she belonged in the family.

However, Monday’s episode revealed that Jodie is hiding another secret, after newcomer Doug delivered a troubling warning about her to Shona.
Doug told Shona: “No, no, you shouldn’t be here… this isn’t right, it’s not right. Don’t believe her — she’s lying. She lies… stay away from her, keep away!”
Jodie quickly intervened and ushered Shona out, insisting that their dad didn’t know what he was talking about.
Later, Jodie returned to see her father and confronted him, warning: “Don’t you dare, Dad — don’t you ruin this for me… because you know what happens when we fall out. It never ends well for you, does it? This could be my happy ending — everything — now she knows about you. I’ve got nothing to hide from her anymore, nothing at all.
They care about me… they really do. Not just Shona — David, Lily — can’t you see, Dad? I don’t need you anymore. I’ve got them. They’re my family now. And I’m going to get everything I want.”
Jodie then gently tapped her frightened father on the face before saying, “Bye, Dad.”

In this week’s episodes, Jodie intentionally plied Shona with alcohol so she could spend time alone with David, later thanking him for making her feel so welcomed. However, David felt unsettled by Jodie’s actions and confided in his brother Nick Tilsley that there’s something not quite right about her.
During Wednesday’s episode, Jodie was seen opening a keepsake box she had kept hidden, taking out several items including an engraved lighter, a gold ring, and a locket containing photos of two young children. The lighter bore the inscription: “Love you Jonesy.”
Sharing their theories online, fans suggested that the box could contain mementos from people Jodie has targeted in the past. Many viewers believe the locket may hold pictures of her two daughters, who they suspect were somehow taken away from her.

One viewer commented: “Maybe that box is like a trophy collection of all the strange things she’s done over the years? That’s the impression I got.”
Another suggested: “Perhaps we’re heading for a Meena-style storyline (like in Emmerdale), and those items belong to people she’s murdered!”
A third added: “I think the photos are of her children, who for some reason have been taken into care.”
Elsewhere, another fan predicted: “I think there’s going to be a twist — the girls in the locket are actually Jodie’s daughters, and there could be a shocking reveal that Jodie believes Shona is somehow responsible for their deaths…”
