“During the Torquay, Devon pantomime of Sleeping Beauty, chaos erupted when an audience member began acting in an ‘anti-social’ way.”

Chaos erupted during a Sleeping Beauty pantomime in Torquay starring former EastEnders actress Emma Barton. Police were called to the Princess Theatre after a woman began behaving in an “anti-social manner” during the performance.
An off-duty officer escorted her out of the theatre, but she reportedly shoved the officer and was subsequently arrested. Emma Barton, best known for her long-running role as Honey Mitchell on EastEnders and her appearance on Strictly Come Dancing, plays the villainous fairy Carabosse in the show.
A 31-year-old woman has been taken into custody following her disruptive actions during the performance, facing suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker.

She remains in police custody. A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “It was reported that a woman was behaving in an anti-social manner during the pantomime performance at the Princess Theatre in Torquay yesterday afternoon (Sunday).
“After officers engaged with her, an off-duty police officer escorted her from the theatre, during which she pushed him. A 31-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker and is still in police custody.”
This incident comes shortly after a TikTok video surfaced showing a mass brawl in the beer tent at London’s Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park. The footage appears to capture two separate fights happening simultaneously inside a Bavarian-style beer hall, involving multiple people.
Visitors were left shocked, including the person filming, who captioned the clip: “POV: your first time in WWL and you experience this,” adding, “Not the experience I was expecting.”
In the video, one group of men can be seen throwing punches at each other, while the camera pans to another fight where a man appears to fall to the ground and is kicked by a group before security intervenes to break up both incidents as onlookers watch in disbelief.
The TikTok clip has racked up more than 185,000 views. A Winter Wonderland spokesperson said: “The safety of our visitors and staff is our top priority. Aggressive or threatening behaviour is not tolerated and is immediately addressed by on-site security in coordination with the authorities.
“Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is a large-scale seasonal event, attracting around three million visitors over six weeks.”
“We collaborate closely with the Metropolitan Police and other relevant authorities to make sure security and crowd-control measures are effective and suitable throughout the event.
“The vast majority of visitors enjoy a positive experience. As with any event of this size, isolated incidents of antisocial behaviour can occur, but they are dealt with promptly and do not affect the overall event.”
