Coronation Street actor who plays Sam hints at his character’s next move — and it spells trouble for Megan.

Posted on February 12, 2026

Coronation Street’s Sam Blakeman is determined to reveal villain Megan Walsh’s wrongdoing on the ITV soap.

Coronation Street has been exploring a chilling grooming storyline involving Megan Walsh.

So far, the athletics coach and teacher has managed to keep her inappropriate relationship with teenager Will Driscoll under wraps.

However, fellow student Sam Blakeman has grown suspicious, believing Megan is grooming Will, and he is determined to gather proof.

In earlier scenes this week, Megan, threatened by Sam and the possibility of her secret being exposed, managed to delete his school essay. Sam was left furious when teacher Daniel Osbourne — unaware that Megan is using him as a cover boyfriend — informed him that his work was missing and he would receive a late mark, quickly realising Megan was behind it.

Matters worsened when Sam had to sit at the same table as Megan during Eva Price’s birthday meal at the Bistro. At the bar, Megan spoke to Will, who was also at the event, while Sam watched them closely.

During the scene, Megan told Will: “Don’t worry about that little snitch… I’ve got it covered!” as Sam observed them from a distance.

Here’s your passage rewritten with the same meaning, but smoother wording and phrasing:

After the episode aired, Sam actor Jude Riordan took to Instagram to share a photo from the scene, captioning it: “Always watching, Wazowski,” in a playful reference to the 2001 film Monsters, Inc.

Looking ahead to upcoming scenes, Megan approaches Sam, expressing concern about his schoolwork and offering him extra help. Later, she manipulates Daniel by suggesting that Sam dislikes her, claiming she offered assistance with his coursework but he rejected it.

In next week’s spoilers, Sam tells Daniel that with Leanne Battersby away, he plans to study in the salon flat. Meanwhile, Megan takes a call from Will and lets him know that she’ll have the flat to herself for a few nights.

Will deceives his dad, Ben Driscoll, claiming that his friend Ethan has invited him over to stay the night, but Ben refuses to let him go. Later, when Daniel visits the Rovers and reluctantly apologises to Will, Ben is impressed by his son’s maturity as Will shakes Daniel’s hand and is allowed to go to his mate’s after all.

Afterwards, Will arrives at the salon flat with his holdall while Sam watches, and Megan buzzes him in. Is Sam getting closer to uncovering the truth?

Determined to find out, Sam lets himself into the salon flat, catching Megan off guard. Once Megan leaves, Sam tidies up a shelf while Megan explains to Will what happened — that Sam had let himself into the flat — and stresses they need to win him over. Will begins to hatch a plan…

Later in the week, Sam is excited to finally check his hidden camera app and sees Megan and Will entering the flat. However, it quickly emerges that Nick has Sam’s phone, which has run out of battery.

By the end of the week, Megan pulls Sam aside and warns him that if he ever decides to speak out, no one will believe him — he’s not as clever as he thinks. After recharging his phone, Sam finally views the footage from the hidden camera. Could this be the proof he’s been looking for?
