The ITV soap star has been flooded with congratulations following the arrival of her son.
Former Coronation Street actress Paula Lane joyfully announced the birth of her baby boy on social media. Paula first appeared on the soap in 2010, playing Kylie Platt until her character’s tragic exit in 2016.
More recently, she appeared in Emmerdale as Ella Forster, before leaving the role last year.
Her fellow soap stars were quick to send their well-wishes after Paula revealed she had welcomed a son, Patrick, into the world.
Sharing a series of heartwarming photos with her newborn, one picture showed Paula gazing lovingly at her baby, while another captured her husband Tom Shaw cradling Patrick alongside a bottle of Paddy whiskey, according to OK!.
Two more photos showed their black Labrador, Stoodley, curled up next to a pair of tiny booties and relaxing in front of a Moses basket.
Paula captioned the post: “Welcome to the ranch, Patrick. We are all completely and utterly in love. So longed for… thank you for completing us.”
The post quickly attracted a flood of congratulations, including a comment from former soap star Samia Longchambon, who wrote: “Congratulations Paula! Beautiful news.”

Another follower wrote: “Ahhh congratulations. How lovely to see your new arrival. I hope you are all keeping well. Sending my best wishes to you all :)”.
One person added: “Aww Paula and Tom, Stoodley and the little ones, many congrats to you all. Stoodley looks so proud in those photos.”
Another fan commented: “Awww Paula, massive congratulations to you all.”

Paula and her husband Tom tied the knot in 2014 and already have two children before welcoming their newest addition.
Their first son, Arthur Shaw, was born in 2014, followed by their daughter, Penny Grace, in 2016.
The actress announced they were expecting their third child last August through a heartwarming Instagram post.
She shared two cards reading “best big brother” and “best big sister”, meant for Arthur and Penny, with a baby sonogram placed in between.
