Corrie actress Nikki Sanderson and her former Hollyoaks co-star Anthony Quinlan are expecting their first child together.
Coronation Street star Nikki Sanderson has revealed that the outpouring of support following her pregnancy announcement has left her feeling “overwhelmed.”
The 41-year-old actress and her ex-Hollyoaks partner Anthony Quinlan, also 41, are expecting their first child together.
After sharing the news, Nikki posted an update on Instagram to thank her followers for the heartfelt messages she has received throughout her pregnancy journey.
In the photo, she is seen smiling at the camera, standing in a pink floral-themed bathroom, and gently cradling her growing baby bump.
Alongside the image, she wrote: “In my pregnancy era. We are completely overwhelmed by all of the kind messages, comments and well wishes.”
She added: “Thank you so much to everyone who has reached out to congratulate us. We’re honestly over the moon and can’t wait to become a family of three.”
Unsurprisingly, the comment section quickly filled with heartwarming messages from her devoted fans as well as celebrity friends.
Her partner Anthony was among the first to comment, writing: “My baby momma is a beaut!” Corrie co-star Brooke Levi Vincent added: “Literally glowing.”
Another co-star, Tina O’Brien, shared: “Oh my goodness, NikNak!!!! I’m so happy for you both! You look absolutely glowing. Congratulations, sending all my love to you.”
Loose Women star Denise Welch commented: “I’m so excited for you both.”
Fans were quick to share their congratulations as well. One wrote: “Stunning Nikki. So happy for you.” Another added: “Gorgeously glowing, so happy for you.” A third fan said simply: “You look amazing.” One more chimed in: “Stunning beautiful mummy-to-be.”
“You suit pregnancy,” insisted another admirer, while someone else added: “Beautiful mumma-to-be, you’re going to be amazing parents.”
Back in December, the couple — who began dating in 2022 and went public with their romance in April of that year — announced the happy news in a joint Instagram post.
“Merry Christmas from the three of us,” read the caption on the video. “Baby Quinlan due Spring 2026.”
In the clip, the parents-to-be were seen decorating their Christmas tree together, hanging baubles before opening a special box to reveal the most meaningful decoration of all.
The ornament featured a photo from the baby scan and read: “Baby Quinlan: Arriving 2026.” Nikki showcased her baby bump in a festive red dress as she and Anthony shared a sweet kiss beside the Christmas tree.
