Coronation Street’s predator Megan is reportedly set to face a pregnancy twist, according to the latest soap spoilers. Megan (Beth Nixon) made her debut on the long-running ITV soap earlier this year as the athletics coach of young Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale), who had recently moved from Hull to Weatherfield. Will relocated with his father Ben (Aaron McCusker), grandmother Maggie (Pauline McLynn), and his dad’s girlfriend, former cobbles favourite Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley). However, it was later uncovered that Megan had been grooming 16-year-old Will for months before his move. So far, their secret relationship has gone unnoticed, and Will’s family remain unaware of Megan’s true intentions.
Megan eventually moved to the cobbles herself and landed a job at Weatherfield High School. She has also started a romantic relationship with fellow teacher Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard).
Their romance hasn’t gone down well with an angry and jealous Will. Next week, however, things take a dramatic turn as a pregnancy storyline unfolds for Megan.
Spoilers reveal that Megan is thrilled when Daniel invites her to his son Bertie’s birthday party. As she leaves the shop, it becomes clear she’s hiding something in her bag.
She is soon confronted by an irate Will, demanding to know whether she stayed at Daniel’s. At the birthday party, Alya asks Bertie to grab the cake candles from her bag, but he mistakenly reaches into Megan’s bag and pulls out a pregnancy test.
Later in the week, as Daniel makes his way to Ken’s car to drive to work, he is shocked to discover that someone has spray-painted an offensive symbol on the car’s bodywork.
Megan meets Will in the ginnel and lashes out at him for vandalising the car. The following day, Leanne and Eva find her crying in Victoria Garden. What will she confess to them?
Now, with speculation swirling that Megan might be pregnant, fans are already guessing who the father could be. On a Coronation Street Facebook fan page, one viewer wrote: “Megan is going to end up pregnant, isn’t she?”
Another added: “Yep, and it’ll be Will’s baby, just watch.” A third commented: “Ugh, you’re probably right, but I hope it’s not.” Someone else simply said: “Yeah, I thought that.”
