Next week in Emmerdale, a local villager is set to be implicated in the ongoing murder investigation.

Emmerdale is set for a dramatic twist as one villager faces a shocking arrest while police investigate the deaths of Celia and Anya.
Fans of the ITV soap will remember that drug lord Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) was killed by her adoptive son, Ray Walters (Joe Absolom), on New Year’s Day. During a heated kitchen confrontation, Ray stabbed Celia in the back after a disagreement over a plan to kill April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) and Celia’s revelation that her forced labour worker, Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards), had also been murdered.
Just hours later, Ray himself was killed by Bear after the villain attempted to harm his son, Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt), and Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle). Ray’s body was then loaded into the back of a van, which Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) drove away. Now, the police are on the verge of making a major discovery.

Next week on the ITV soap, the police will make a double arrest after uncovering Celia’s body buried alongside Anya (Alia Al-Shabibi), another forced labour worker who died while on Celia and Ray’s farm.
Detectives arrive to arrest Moira Dingle (Natalie J. Robb) and her husband, Cain (Jeff Hordley), in front of their children for the double murder. At the police station, Cain stays silent throughout his interview, while Moira insists she was framed by her former business partner, Celia.
The farmer is left reeling when DS Walsh reveals that one of the bodies is Celia, sending Moira into panic as the evidence against her begins to mount.

Meanwhile, Cain is released without charge, but the situation takes a darker turn when his half-brother, Caleb Miligan (William Ash), delivers shocking news: one of the bodies had been wrapped in Moira’s blanket, prompting a furious Cain to refuse to return home without his wife.
Matters worsen when DS Walsh reveals that Moira’s DNA was discovered on the blanket Anya was buried in. Moira is left stunned as she is officially charged with the murders of both Celia and Anya.
Moira is then led to a police car, telling Cain she has been charged with double murder, while he watches in anguish alongside Caleb and Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter).
Cain immediately visits Moira in prison, and when he sees her sporting a black eye, he is visibly shaken and anxious.

Will the truth behind Anya and Celia’s deaths ever come to light? For now, Bear seems to be the only person who knows exactly how Anya died.
Meanwhile, Cain faces more bad news as he anxiously waits for his hospital appointment and speaks with another patient living with prostate cancer.
Later, Ms. Rhodes delivers a diagnosis: Cain has aggressive but localised prostate cancer. He struggles to process the news.
Overwhelmed by the diagnosis and the potential side effects of the recommended radical prostatectomy, Cain abruptly ends the consultation and leaves, later facing the news and its implications on his own.
