The actor rose to fame playing Aaron Dingle on the ITV soap, making his first appearance in 2008. Since then, he has become a firm fan favourite, taking part in many of the show’s biggest and most memorable storylines.
Away from the screen, Danny is happily married to Steph. The couple got engaged in 2021 and tied the knot the following year in a picturesque ceremony in Cheshire, surrounded by family and friends.
Their love story has continued to grow, with the arrival of their son Albert in 2021 and their daughter Edith in 2023.
In addition, last July the couple welcomed their third child, baby boy Vincent Miller. When introducing the newest addition to their family, Danny shared a photo of himself and Steph beaming with pride, with their older children smiling alongside their baby brother, according to the Mirror.
More recently, Danny moved his followers to tears by posting a heartfelt tribute to Steph on social media. He shared beautiful snapshots of Steph and their children enjoying a day at the seaside on his Instagram account.
His caption read: “I’ll never get tired of watching @stephjones1710 as a mum. Because of the incredible mother you are, I get to be the father I always dreamed of becoming. Thank you for helping me grow into the man and father I am today, and for building our family together. Forever grateful.”
Fans quickly flooded the comments, praising the heartfelt post. One admirer wrote: “Oh my goodness, Danny, this is so precious! You truly are the best dad and partner to Steph.”
Another fan commented: “Love these pics, but I can’t even cope with Vincent in that first one [crying face emoji].” A third added: “A powerhouse of a woman and mother—beautiful pictures of a beautiful family.” Someone else shared: “Beautiful words, Danny, for your beautiful Steph [sobbing face emoji].”
Danny has had a busy schedule in recent months as he prepares for his role in Corriedale, the landmark ITV crossover event bringing together the worlds of Emmerdale and Coronation Street for a special one-off episode.
He was among the first cast members announced for the groundbreaking episode, appearing alongside Coronation Street’s Vicky Myers (DS Lisa Swain). Showing her support for her husband ahead of the highly anticipated crossover, Steph left a heartwarming comment under the news of Danny’s Corriedale casting, writing: “Proud of you,” followed by a heart emoji.
