Emmerdale’s Michelle Hardwick honored her famous wife ahead of her milestone birthday.

Emmerdale star Michelle Hardwick has thrilled fans by sharing a rare photo with her mum.
The 49-year-old actress, who plays Vanessa Woodfield on the ITV soap, has recently been at the centre of a dramatic baby scandal involving Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins).
After agreeing to act as a surrogate for Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) and Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant), Charity struggled with the devastating secret that the baby might not actually belong to them following her fling with Ross Barton (Mike Parr).
However, Vanessa didn’t hold back and warned Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) that his wife, Charity, might not be carrying Sarah’s child. This revelation sparked a tense showdown between Mack and Charity, culminating in a dramatic car crash in the latest Emmerdale episode — and the full truth has yet to come out.

Away from the ITV soap, Michelle Hardwick enjoys a quieter life with her Coronation Street producer wife, Kate Brooks, and their two children.
In the run-up to Michelle’s 50th birthday in February, Kate treated her wife and mother-in-law to a night out in London to see ABBA Voyage. Sharing moments from the evening on Instagram, Michelle delighted fans with glimpses of their outing.
One photo shows the pair standing together near the ABBA Voyage venue at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in East London, both beaming at the camera and clearly enjoying their night.
Michelle captioned the post: “Incredible. If you’re an ABBA fan, it’s an absolute must! And what a refreshing change not being allowed any photography. So instead of ABBA, you get my mum and me doing toilet selfies. ‘Don’t spoil the magic.’”
In a heartfelt tribute to her wife, Michelle wrote: “Thank you to my beautiful wife for spoiling us and organising this trip to kick off the big birthday celebrations next month.”
Friends and fans quickly flooded the comments with praise for the mother-daughter duo. One person wrote: “You both look amazing! Can’t wait to see @abbavoyage.” Another added: “Hope you had a lovely time, Michelle. P.S. you look stunning as always,” while a third commented: “Aw, you both look so lovely! So glad you’ve had the best time.”
“Looking fab, ladies,” said one fan, with another echoing: “Beautiful. Hope you’ve had an amazing time.”

Michelle met her wife, Kate, a talented TV executive, while working as a series producer on Emmerdale before moving on to produce Coronation Street.
The couple went public with their relationship on National Coming Out Day in October 2018, sharing a sweet photo on Instagram.
Rather than having a lavish UK wedding, they chose an intimate ceremony for just the two of them, travelling to Elvis Presley’s iconic Graceland in Memphis in September 2019. Together, they are raising two children.
