General Hospital spoilers reveal that District Attorney Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) didn’t even leave the courtroom after Willow Tait Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) hearing before she was reacting to Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) demand that she pursue Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) for shooting him.
With Drew potentially out of the picture, Turner might have more flexibility to avoid the matter entirely. Still, she has already instructed Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) to build a case against his own brother. It seems unlikely Dante will find an easy way out. If he’s forced to go after Michael for a crime he didn’t commit, how will the rest of the Corinthos family react — and which side will they choose?
Turner Sidesteps…or Steps Aside?
DA Turner has promised Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) that if the state decides to prosecute Michael — which seems probable — she will recuse herself from the case.
This is both the ethical and practical move, given her compromised position after witnessing Drew attempt to blackmail Sonny during one of his many schemes against Michael. But stepping aside isn’t the same as avoiding the case entirely — the outcome Sonny would prefer.
How will Sonny’s insistence that Drew doesn’t deserve justice reflect on his son Dante at the PCPD? Does Sonny even consider the difficult position he’s putting Dante in? No doubt, he’ll be furious — even if it’s irrational — that Dante is following through with the investigation.

Nathan Could Complicate Things
Dante isn’t just navigating DA Turner’s opinions about his family — he also faces an uphill battle with the cards stacked against him. That said, Turner seems confident that Dante can handle the job without letting personal feelings interfere, which is more than she can say for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). While Chase has been suspended, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) has been filling in at the station — when he isn’t busy getting closer to Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruneing).
Could Nathan’s growing relationship with Dante’s ex-wife give him an opening to spin the investigation against Michael in a way that makes Dante look less than honorable? There’s a bad vibe surrounding Nathan, who claims he’s just being “himself.”
Brook Lynn Won’t Be Happy
Dante is used to pushback from Lulu, but criticism from the mother of his other son could be even harder to handle — especially since she’s married to Chase.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) has been steadfast in her belief in Michael’s innocence and is unlikely to take kindly to Dante acting against his own family, particularly right after suspending her husband.
While Michael is the one most at risk, Dante may also find himself losing support from key family members as this situation unfolds. Keep checking back for more General Hospital news and spoilers to see how everything plays out for everyone involved.
