In a recent TV Insider interview, GH co-head writers Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten dropped some ominous hints, leaving viewers speculating about shocking developments set for 2026.
Valentin and Carly Team Up Against Brennan
As fans know, Valentin has allied with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) on a bold mission against Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna). Currently, Valentin is in a precarious position as a fugitive, hiding out in Carly’s home — a situation clearly setting the stage for serious trouble.
The danger could even be life-threatening, especially given the chilling comments from Van Etten and Korte. The first hint suggests that Valentin’s connection with Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) “may be the death of him.” It doesn’t get much more foreboding than that.
Meanwhile, it’s only a matter of time before Brennan discovers Valentin’s alliance with Carly, which could push Jack to try to eliminate him for good. This chaos could be set in motion by Rocco betraying Charlotte.
Korte and Van Etten revealed that Rocco will face “a turbulent 2026, sparking a chain of events that will lead to the exit of one Port Charles resident, with serious repercussions for others.” Could Valentin be that resident — and could his exit be fatal? Is this the end of the line for him?
