Dr. Kevin Collins Possibly Leaving?
GH spoilers remind fans that Jon Lindstrom, who portrays Dr. Kevin Collins, is also currently a key figure on another soap, Beyond the Gates. Lindstrom has taken on the role of casino owner Joey Armstrong, a character very different from GH’s Kevin.
Given this, some fans suspect that his latest run on General Hospital could be a temporary farewell. During the week of January 5-9, Kevin and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will discuss doing whatever it takes to protect Ace Cassadine (Karis & Kieran Barry).
With Kevin receiving an offer to teach in Dublin, there’s a strong possibility that he and Ace might head there to stay safe from the danger posed by Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) this week.
Valentin Cassadine on Thin Ice
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Valentin Cassadine will continue appearing during the week of January 5-9—but is he on borrowed time? In a recent 2026 preview interview with TV Insider, GH co-head writers Chris Van Etten and Elizabeth Korte hinted that Valentin’s storyline could be coming to an end.
They noted that Valentin’s bond with Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) might ultimately be “the death of him.” Could we see Valentin’s exit unfold this week?
Meanwhile, fans will also see more of Jacinda Bracken, played by Paige Herschell. She and Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) share undeniable chemistry, though their alibi for the night Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was shot is far from solid.
As Willow Tait Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) trial intensifies this week, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) will warn Jacinda to leave town. Will Jacinda heed her advice?
