Another One Bites the Dust – Will Nina Go After Carly’s Former Flames?
It seems like another one bites the dust: will Nina pursue yet another of Carly’s exes? Carly and Jack are on shaky ground, and with the attractive and enigmatic WSB Agent available, would anyone be surprised if Nina went after him? After all, she has a history of going after Carly’s leftovers.
Over the years, Nina has successfully inserted herself into the lives of Carly’s men after they’ve been discarded — with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) being the notable exception. Nina swooped in when both Sonny and Carly were vulnerable, and in early 2020, she also got involved with Jasper Jax Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), father of Carly’s daughter Josslyn (Eden McCoy), as well as Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Nina Took Up With Drew Right After Sonny
Nina’s relationship with Drew followed shortly after her involvement with Carly’s husband, Sonny, ended. Meanwhile, Carly and Jack became a couple due to mutual attraction and curiosity. Despite the complicated circumstances, Carly gave the relationship a chance.
However, Carly has now grown frustrated with Jack’s deceit and the way he’s putting Josslyn at risk, and she is ready to end things. Currently, Carly is secretly working with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) — Nina’s ex — to take down Jack. She has moved on emotionally, realizing their relationship was built on lies.
Will Nina Hook Up With Jack Too?
With Carly aware that Jack involved Josslyn in WSB matters and has been dishonest from the start, it’s only a matter of time before their relationship ends. Carly is currently pretending to maintain the romance, but once the truth comes out, will Nina make her move?
Given Nina’s pattern of going after Carly’s “seconds,” it seems likely she could set her sights on Jack next. She has already been involved with Jax, Sonny, and Drew — why not add Jack Brennan to that list?
