General Hospital: Willow isn’t finished with Drew — may subject him to Liesl’s Peter treatment

General Hospital spoilers and updates suggest Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) is far from finished with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

With Drew now incapacitated, Willow could follow in the footsteps of her great-aunt Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and subject him to the same kind of fate Liesl once inflicted on Peter August (Wes Ramsey).

Willow’s Injection Was About Control — Not Murder

Willow didn’t inject Drew with the intention of killing him — her goal was to incapacitate him so she could remain in control. It was also her way of punishing him for what she believes was his betrayal with her mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

This betrayal was the reason Willow originally called off her wedding to Drew after discovering he and Nina had been involved. Their relationship overlapped with the period when Willow and Drew first became romantically involved. Technically, Willow was still married to Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) at the time, meaning she was the one who was cheating — not Drew.

However, that distinction didn’t matter to Willow. She felt deceived and furious, directing her anger toward both Drew and Nina, though she has since reconciled with her mother.

A Plan to Punish Drew — and Take His Money

Willow appears to have a long-term plan that involves both punishing Drew and gaining access to his finances. With no alimony from Michael — who is also seeking custody of their children — Willow may see Drew as her financial lifeline.

Complicating matters further, Willow currently serves as Drew’s healthcare proxy, giving her authority over his medical treatment. While she must tread carefully, she could claim she’s transferring him to a specialised rehabilitation facility — when in reality, she may secretly take him somewhere isolated.

That location could mirror the cabin where Liesl once imprisoned Peter, or another secluded place Willow has access to, since the Cassadine stables would be out of reach.

Drew may remain fully conscious and aware of what’s happening, yet unable to communicate or resist — possibly confined to a wheelchair.

Willow’s Twisted Sense of Justice

In Willow’s mind, Drew’s involvement with Nina amounted to infidelity, even though Willow herself was the only one technically cheating at the time. Because Nina and Drew’s relationship overlapped with her growing feelings for Drew, Willow convinced herself she had been betrayed — especially given that Nina is her mother.

That belief drove her to abandon Drew at the altar the first time around.

Now, Willow could restrain Drew — tying him to a bed or wheelchair, possibly gagging him to prevent him from calling for help — while systematically draining him of his money and exacting further revenge.

Many GH fans suspect this is only the beginning of Willow’s dark descent, with some even believing she could surpass the villainy of her late twin, Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier).
